World Dance Day is promoted by UNESCO International Dance Council (UNESCO-CID), which is a subsidiary of UNESCO. April 29th of each year is designated as World Dance Day. Dance organizations around the world will launch various types of dance activities on the same day and at the same time, providing more space and richer programs for dance.
Starting from April 20, 2025, for three consecutive weeks, the Hong Kong Dance Federation will hold different activities for everyone to participate and pass on the joy of dancing to those around them.
1. Each • The whole city dances 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 • 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗴
Participants can hold any form of dance activities, such as dance classes, rehearsals, group dances, performances, lectures, shows, etc., at any place and time from April 20 to May 11, to jointly respond to World Dance Day 2025. *The dance workshop is suitable for dance beginners aged 13 or above. Participants must first pay a reservation fee of HK$100, which will be refunded immediately after the event is completed.
